Where is your business based?

Our bookings service is based in Western Australia but our guides live in Florence. They are local Italians who speak excellent English and look forward to welcoming you to their city. Our guides are licensed, as per Italian law, and have studied the history of Florence, to achieve their accreditation.

What makes you different from other walking tours businesses?

We are bespoke. You walk on your own, or with your travelling companions, and your guide. This allows for flexibility and attention to detail.

Who is your clientele?

Mostly, we walk Western Australians visiting Italy. However, we can take bookings from around Australia and international bookings.

How do we make a booking?

Il Campanile – The Bell Tower – of Florence.

If you would like to make a booking, or simply ask a question, please fill out the form on the contact page.

What information do you need?

Please indicate which walk you have chosen, which date you are walking and your preferred starting time. A phone number will allow us to contact you quickly.

How do we pay?

We’ll confirm your booking and organise for payment, via PayPal.

When is payment required?

Payments can be made any time before your walk date. Cash payments are not accepted.

Should we tip our guide?

No, thank you – all gratuities are included in your initial payment.

Who else will be in my walking group?

No-one, it is just you – your travelling companion, or companions – and your guide! That means that, for most walks, you can choose your preferred starting time unless the weather is hot. Walks ending with lunch or aperitivo do need a pre-determined starting time and may be cancelled if the the heat is extreme.

Can we design our own walk?

Yes, just let us know what you want to see, within the bounds of the historic city, and we will organise it. Pricing will depend upon requirements.

Can we add someone to our group at the last minute?

Yes, we will organise payment on the day, via PayPal.

Do we need to book our walk in advance?

Yes, so we can ensure that your personal guide is available.

Legend has it that this face was carved into the stone of a famous Florence building by Michelangelo … it’s said to be the face of a bad debtor.
